RoadRunner Little League strongly encourages parents to learn how to keep a scorebook. So often, scorekeeping duties fall to one or two parents, and other parents are intimidated by the details in a scorebook. Keeping a book in baseball is easier than it seems, especially if you learn when your player is in the Rookies or Minors divisions.
RRLL expects that every team will have a MINIMUM of two scorekeepers, and that every family will take a turn with pitch counting or running the scoreboard (as division appropriate) to help improve exposure to scorekeeping.
In order to meet this expectation, our head scorekeeper will hold scorekeeping clinics on the following dates in the RRLL board room:
|Rookies & people new to scorekeeping||TBA|
|Minors and above||TBA|
|Last Chance (all divisions)||TBA|
